Never seen another Bakelite Dachshund piece like this one. Set on a brass background this is quite charming and realistic. Measures a little over 3 1/2" in length. Perfect on a coat, jacket or sweater. Circa 1950's.

This is pure Deco. It comes from my private collection. It is not officially jewelry but it is as finely done as a valued piece of jewelry. This is actually exactly like the one made by VCA in the 1930's. All the stones are original, it opens and reveals a mirror and q2q compartmments for powder, color or whatever you heart desires. The back has the initials LAS engraved into it and it opens by srtchingout the arm. The photos will explain it even better. The condition does show some loving wear (3 1/4 ny 1 7/8") but it never botherd me. Has patent number 2060466. A real Deco treasure from a very romantic past. You have to smile when you look in this mirror. I did.

Stamped Van Dell, gold-filled, these lovely, dainty carved ivory rosebuds would flatter any ears. Screw back could be converted to pierced, but you would lose the Van Dell signature. Mint condition. C1950's.

Austrian Crystal suite of earrings and circle pin (stamped made in Austria), remind one of a beautiful pastel-like abstract painting. The crystals are faceted, the metal leaf and floral design creates the background, and there are even faux pearls as accents. Mint condition, C1950.
