Short jacket sports an elastic waistband in the back, shawl collar, pockets on either side and leather closings with fantastic buckles. Skirt is straight sheath with slits to assist in walking.Fabric is 100% wool hound's tooth in a black and brown cololration. Size about an 8. Truly a spectacular treasure and a piece of history all in one.

The paste stones on this comb are absolutely dazzling, with a setting that tests 800 sterling. From about 3cts. to 11cts., these stones are perfect and brilliant. The hinge which holds the mount and the stones are in pristine condition and could be worn in several ways. The crescent shape which measures about 4.5 inches flips up or down, allowing wearer diversity in placing it on top, side, or in back of hairdo. I wish my hair was thick enough to hold this real period beauty. All paste stones are original.
