Outstanding Deco Delights whose style dates back to the crusades. Mesh was one of the first elaborate style of making armor and then adornments. Classic Deco delight. Susan had embellished these superb Deco Lapis Lazuli Earrings (mint condition) with an antique fly mounted on one earring. One is so much more meaningful than two. We are sure you have heard the expression in fashion, "Less is more",this is no exception. Measuring a tad over 2", wire and back is 14K gold and the blue of this Lapis is amazing and natural. Circa 1930, these are a token of Susan's original designs. Some of her work can be seen at the store James Robinson and some by private appointment. Next year you will see other original "beauties" at selected galleries.

We are honored to offer this Essex Crystal Reverse Intaglio Fox bracelet which is in mint condition. These were first popular during Victorian era and remained so until the Deco period.This is without question the finest bracelets with respect to quality, condition, artistry,and rarity that we have ever seen. The reverse intaglio fox crystals were superbly carved by a master and exhibit the finest detailed painting on a mother of pearl background. Then to top this off, the three intaglios are connected by hand carved rock crystals and white gold links. Quite amazing and beautiful. Completely hallmarked 14K white gold this is a true collector's item and sure we will never see anything like this again. Mint condition for the fox in your life or for the fox who believes they deserve a perfect gift.

Art Deco was such a period in history where whimsy was embraced. This pin is a perfect example of that period. 14K gold, white diamonds est. over lct and well just perfection. So well made that this fly has two pins in back to secure and keep it from flying away. Circa 1930,1 1/4" L and wing span is about 1". Superb condition and all stones seem to be original and matching. Great on a sweater, jacket, coat scarf, evening dress or even better on a Tee shirt with a blazer. We belileve the emeralds,rubies and sapphires are real but have not tested them so make no claim.They would have to be removed from the piece to be authenticated.

French 18K gold hallmarked figural pin purchased originally in St. Moritz,Switzerland. Superb integration of design,workmanship and superior materials make this unique gem a true work of art. When looking at this figure please notice the attention to details so that one feels the suggestion of movement and well bit of adventure. Circa,the first half of the 20th century and clearly the best of the best.We also want to mention the clever use of platinum, how brilliantly the rubies are channel set in either ski, the cabachon sapphire on the cap and the fluidity of the scarf sporting the perfectly set diamonds. Art Deco reigns supreme in this strong and charming example of a pure Deco design. Royal and lucky red fuschia rubies (5) have been masterfully set in a channel setting and then flanked by about 24 single cut diamonds, brilliant in color, quality and clarity..All mounted into an 18K white gold setting and then an interior mount was added so that the ring has added flexability and can actually size a bit up or down. Ring is about 5 1/2 to 6 1/4 and could easily be resized. Will look great on any hand and even looks amazing as a pinky ring.
