Famous architect from the Art Deco period of the 1930"s. Famous for his design of the Chrysler Bldg. on Fifth Avenue in NYC. French nationality but his work can be seen worldwide. Classic design of woman with 30's hairstyle releasing a bird into the universe. Completely charming and collectible for the discerning eye. 2" vertical by 1 3/4" in width. Labradorite is known for its peacock blue iridescence and it no longer being mined. Used by the Victorians often carved into monkey heads this is no exception. It was at that time of Darwin and this image was all the rage. Circa 1870 this monkey is adorned with two rose cut diamonds set in a 14K gold bezel setting. Then Susan's jeweler reset the stone in a hand made setting. Wonderful, full of whimsy and the only one. Color changes from grey to electric blue depending on the light and the mood of this magical monkey. Size is 7 to 7 1/2 (can be sized). We are accepting lay away when terms are agreed upon..

George III Antique 18K gold Cameo Ring of Socrates created in England circa 1790. Complete perfection, hand made in a classic setting typical of the time. Art Deco reigns supreme in this strong and charming example of a pure Deco design. Royal and lucky red fuschia rubies (5) have been masterfully set in a channel setting and then flanked by about 24 single cut diamonds, brilliant in color, quality and clarity..All mounted into an 18K white gold setting and then an interior mount was added so that the ring has added flexability and can actually size a bit up or down. Ring is about 5 1/2 to 6 1/4 and could easily be resized. Will look great on any hand and even looks amazing as a pinky ring.
